Sprouts green gram dal whole

 

Sprouts are one of the most complete and nutritional of all the foods that exist. Sprouts have greater concentration of vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes. Sprouts are organic and can be grown anytime anywhere. Sprouts are easily digestible. Abundant enzymes make them easy to digest even for those with a weak digestion. Sprouts can be used from salads to dosa.

Ingredients:

  • Green gram dal(whole)- 1 cup

Recipe:

  1. Soak the Green gram dal whole in Water for 8 hours.
  2. Wash the Green gram dal and drain the Water.
  3. Hang the Green gram dal in a moist cloth for 14 hours or till you see the sprouts as shown in the picture.
  4. Sprinkle water frequently if the cloth covered Green gram dal becomes dry.
