Ingredients:
- Basmati rice - 2 cup
- Coconut milk - 3 cups
- Bread - 3 slices (cut into cubes)
- Ghee - 1 tbsp
- Cloves - 2
- Cardamom - 2
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Green chilli - 4 (cut lengthwise)
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 2 (cut lengthwise)
- Tomato - 3 (diced)
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Curd - 1 tsp
- Oil - to fry
- Salt - to taste
Recipe:
- Wash and Soak Basmati rice in Coconut milk for 5 min.
- Heat Ghee in a pan. Add Cloves, Cardamom, Bay leaf, Cinnamon, Fennel seeds, Ginger Garlic paste, Green Chilli, Mint leaves, Coriander leaves one by one and then mix well.
- Now add Onion, Tomato, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt, Curd and combine well.
- Then add rice Coconut milk mix and cook in cooker.
- Now fry Bread slices in Oil till it turns golden brown. Then add that slices to the cooked rice and mix well.
Goes well with: raita.
