Tomato Halwa thakkali alwa sweet recipe


  • Apple Tomato- 3
  • Sugar- 3-5 spoon
  • Ghee- as required


  1. Grind the Tomatoes with out water and keep it aside.
  2. Heat Ghee in a pan. Add Tomato juice and sugar and stir it in very low heat.
  3. Add some more Ghee if you feel you need it.
  4. Stir it continuously till it becomes so soft and thick.Serve it hot.

    Hi, i am tempted to try this.

    I am assuming the tomatoes are skinned but are they deseeded as well?

    No need to remove seeds and skin from the tomatoes. Just grind the tomatoes. Thats fine. Try and let us know your feedback. Happy Cooking!
